Join us at Exploration of Flight and take a step back in time and check out aircraft and cars from 1980 and earlier, including a collection of Varga 2150s. Visit vintage market booths in the hangar and dress up in your favorite retro wear.

- History Comes to Life Showcase @ Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight, 9 am-5 pm*
Join Wings Exploration of Flight, in partnership with EAA Rocky Mountain Chapter 301 and Commemorative Air Force Central Texas Wing, from September 1 – 4 to experience rare historic aircraft up close! The featured aircraft include the 1920s Ford Tri-motor and the C-47 “That’s All, Brother” that led the invasion on D-Day in 1944. Also on the ramp will be a 1947 C-45 Twin Beech and a 1943 SNJ from the Commemorative Air Force Gulf Coast Wing.

Grandparents, your admission is our treat on National Grandparents’ Day. Enjoy a fantastic day of family fun while exploring, sharing stories and experiences at both Wings Over the Rockies locations!
Family members are welcome to pre-purchase their tickets online. Grandparents’ free admission tickets will be available at check-in.

- Wings of Valor: Honoring Vietnam Air War Veterans @ Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight, 6 pm-9:15 pm*
Join Wings Over the Rockies, in partnership with the United States Air Force Historical Foundation, for the 2023 Wings of Valor: Vietnam War Air War Veterans Celebration commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. This event is a tribute to the fearless aviators who soared through the turbulent skies of Vietnam and demonstrated unparalleled bravery and unwavering determination. Enjoy a spectacular aerial demonstration, live music, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres. Special guests include the Vietnam Veterans, National Air Museums’ Airpower and Space History scholars, and esteemed speaker Gen Ron R. Fogleman, USAF (Ret). - *Admittance to Exploration of Flight is free for CSA Learners with their student membership. New CSA families receive a 20% discount on family memberships to Wings Over the Rockies Museum, valid at both museum locations (Centennial & Lowry). Colorado SKIES Academy is a free public charter school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District, open to students throughout the Arapahoe County and Douglas County areas.
This STEAM middle school serving grades 6-8 is located at Centennial Airport next to Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight.
