Dear Colorado SKIES Academy Families,
Plans are coming together for back-to-school in August, and I will keep sharing important updates as we finalize the details. For this week, I’m pleased to tell you that the revised academic calendar was approved by the board at the last meeting. The revised 2023-2024 Academic Calendar has been published on the website, found here.
I hope to see you at one of our last 2 remaining family nights this month! We’ll be exploring rocket engineering and design with Ms. Subba and Ms. Pierce. There will be information about the Civil Air Patrol with contact information so you can get your questions answered and learn more about future meetings and logistics. You can visit this link to learn more about the national program, and this link will give you a glimpse into the local squadron that CSA partners with. There will be pizza, drinks, and snacks available for purchase, and we have a wheel spin for CSA swag!
We are always looking for parent and learner volunteers to help us during our recruiting and community-building events. Please visit this signup genius link to see other places that we’ll be this summer and sign up to help get the word out about our fantastic school! More learners in our program allow us more opportunities to offer electives and clubs. I hope that you’ll join me at an event or two to talk about your experience at CSA.
As always, please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
Please check out the “Upcoming Events” calendar as well as the detailed articles below for more information regarding:
Sincerely,
Christa
