Dear Colorado SKIES Academy Families,
Wow, it’s hard to believe that more than a full month has gone by since we sent learners off to enjoy the summer! We hope that you are getting many chances to recharge and explore our amazing state.
Your CSA family has been hard at work cleaning our building, hosting amazing family night events, and planning for the fall. We are excited to share more with you in the coming weeks on what to expect in August!
I hope to see you at one of our upcoming CSA Summer Nights in July! There will be pizza, drinks, and snacks available for purchase, and we have a wheel spin for CSA swag! We will explore fun topics like piloting jet fighters with Mr. Cronin and rocket engineering and design with Ms. Pierce and Ms. Subba. There will be information about the Civil Air Patrol with contact information so you can get your questions answered and learn more about upcoming meetings and logistics. You can visit this link to learn about the national program, and this link will give you a glimpse into the local squadron that CSA partners with.
We are always looking for parent and learner volunteers to help us during our recruiting and community-building events. Please visit this signup genius link to see other places that we’ll be this summer and sign up to help get the word out about our fantastic school! More learners in our program will allow us more opportunities to offer electives and clubs, and I hope you’ll join me at an event or two to talk about your experience at CSA. As always, please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
Please check out the “Upcoming Events” calendar as well as the detailed articles below for more information regarding:
Sincerely,
Christa
