We are working vigorously to update our academic calendar and bell schedule to continue the existing schedule of Mondays through Thursdays, 8:00-3:30 pm and 8:00-1:00 pm on Fridays.

We anticipate still following a block schedule (A/B days, splitting classes across two days) and will provide more information in the coming weeks. As a reminder, the block schedule will consist of 90-minute periods that will allow our learners the opportunity to dive into their integrated projects across all content areas. Your learner’s Flight Crew will be the same group of learners to build their community and relationships with one another.

Learners can be dropped off as early as 7:00 am, and we will continue to host after-school activities and clubs to support working parents. Keep an eye out for more details as we get closer to the start of the year.

Also, every learner will have FREE lunch available to them, thanks to our generous taxpayers!

Colorado SKIES Academy

Colorado SKIES Academy is a free public charter school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District, open to students throughout the Arapahoe County and Douglas County areas. This STEAM middle school serving grades 6-8 is located at Centennial Airport next to Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight.
