Dear Colorado SKIES Academy Families,

Congratulations to you and your learner(s) for completing Quarter 1! You will see final grades in PowerSchool next week. In an effort to be more eco-friendly, CSA offers a “go paperless” initiative that allows parents and guardians the option to access their student’s official academic progress reports and report cards electronically through PowerSchool. If you’d like a printed copy of your learner’s report card, please send an email to info@coloradoskiesacademy.org.

We have some exciting news for learners and families as we begin Quarter 2! We have a few additional after-school clubs that will begin the week of October 23rd:

  • Any learner who wishes to learn how to play the Scottish Tenor Drum and flourish with Ms. Gispan can join every Wednesday. A drum practice pad and tenor mallets with ties are the equipment needed. No kilts are required! To help Ms. Gispan provide drums for learners, click here.
  • Knitting and Crocheting will start on Friday, October 27th from 1:15-2:30 p.m. with the assistance of a wonderful parent volunteer, Ms. Wilhelm. If learners need to stay until 5:00 p.m., they can go to the Movie Club at 2:30 p.m.
  • Girls in Aviation Club also begins on Friday, October 27th from 1:15-2:30 p.m. This will be a chance for our amazing girls at CSA to come together to encourage and empower each other without regard to race, ethnicity, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, physical or mental abilities, or point of view. We know with certainty that our shared passion for aviation transcends any differences among us.
  • A reminder that Ms. Uta will continue Cooking Club on Mondays. Read her update for Q2 here.

Please read the articles in this week’s message including Ms. Subba Pratti’s Promotion Announcement, Nurse Emma's Corner, a SKIES Athletic Development update from Coach Cronin, and information about upcoming events.

We hope that everyone is able to rest and recharge this week, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at CSA on Monday, October 23rd.

In gratitude, Directors Coryell and Motley
