Exploratorium Colorado Skies Academy

Director’s Message:

CSA Families,

We are incredibly excited to come together this week for in-person learning. Colorado SKIES Academy will return on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. We want to thank everyone for their commitment, flexibility, and resilience during this challenging time. Our learners were outstanding and well supported by families and facilitators to engage in quality learning opportunities during quarantine. Thank You!

Learner work for Quarter 1 Grading is Due Monday, October 11

This week will be the final week of our first quarter. Would you mind reminding your learners to communicate with their facilitators and check Schoology for any missing assignments?

All make-up work and/or resubmitted work must be turned in on or before the Monday of the last week of each quarter. That is Monday, October 11, 2021 for Quarter 1. Please take a look in Schoology to check all assignments for Quarter 1.  If you have questions about specific assignments, please contact  your learner’s facilitators via email.

Quarter 1 will officially end on Friday, October 15 and Report Cards will be available in PowerSchool on October 20, 2021. An additional Report of Progress will be shared with each family providing a narrative of progress with critical skill by October 25, 2021.

This week will be the final week of our first quarter (see details below). Would you mind reminding your learners to communicate with their facilitators and check Schoology for any missing assignments?

2nd Quarter Kicking Off – Elective Choices Made This Week

Colorado SKIES Academy will kick off the Second Quarter with engaging project-based electives in place of their Leadership class. Would you mind taking a minute to discuss your learner’s top three choices for electives? Advisory facilitators will be sharing the digital form to select electives on Tuesday, October 12. All selections will need to be completed by Thursday, October 14.

Thank you again for your patience and partnership. Colorado SKIES Academy staff is always here to support you and your learner.
