Dear Colorado SKIES Academy Families,

What an amazing week honoring our Q1 Learners of Merit, celebrating Halloween, the conclusion of the Advanced Rocketry project with 8th graders launching their rockets in Arvada on Wednesday, and 6th graders conducting their Reach for the Stars Presentation of Learning on Friday. We hope that you enjoyed learning about the stars, the unique models that 6th grade created, and witnessing your learner’s rocket fly in the sky! If you have any pictures that you’d like to share, please send them to info@coloradoskiesacademy.org.

It's that time of year! We are starting to prepare for the 2024-25 School Year (can you believe it?!), and we need our CURRENT CSA Families to complete the Intent to Return/Not Return process. This information will help our Leadership Team plan for the new school year regarding budgeting, facility use, staffing, and more. This process also helps us to know how many new learners we will have openings for in the upcoming school year so that we can invite learners during the Open Enrollment Window in December. Please be on the lookout for the Intent to Return/Not Return email that will be sent later this week.

Please read the articles in this week’s message including information about the CSA field trip to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, a new fundraising opportunity that is helpful to you and CSA, a current listing of the After School Clubs, and details about upcoming events.

In gratitude, Directors Coryell and Motley
