The end of the year is approaching fast! Our learners have just completed their Presentations of Learning, and they are now finalizing and turning in remaining schoolwork (all assignments due May 17) and finishing out the last two weeks. Our final school day is May 27 (early release at 1:00 PM).
Coming Up
Our 8th graders’ last official day of learning is Friday, May 21. Their graduation will follow regular school hours at 1:30 PM at Wings Over the Rockies. Families planning to attend this event should look for detailed communication regarding participation.
CSA will provide activities for 8th graders May 24-27. To help us plan, please notify the office if your 8th grader will attend school that week.
Separately, 8th grade has a special celebration that has been organized for Tuesday, May 25, at Boondocks. Transportation will be provided from CSA to Boondocks. A bus will leave CSA at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, May 25. Parents will need to pick learners up from Boondocks by 4:00 PM. Chaperones are needed for this event. Please contact Teresa at the CSA office to join the fun as a volunteer.
Field Day
On May 26, all 6th and 7th graders will have an end-of-the-year Field Day Celebration in the school parking lot. All learners, please bring water bottles and sunscreen and be prepared for a day outside. Mr. B and Mr. Harman are planning a lot of fun activities for the day.
CSA SAC Survey
So far, 120 learners (13% of 8th grade, 46% of 7th grade, and 39% of 6th grade) and 38% of parents have completed the SAC surveys. Parents and facilitators, please take the survey and ask your learners to do the same. The survey is completely anonymous and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Please click your survey link below by no later than Monday at midnight to provide valuable information for the school
Spring MAP assessments, our final opportunity to showcase our learners’ growth through this measurement, begin May 17. This is our learners’ data, so we hope they try their best, and it is also valuable information to guide future instruction.
