Message from the Director, Suzanne Acheson

Dear Colorado SKIES Academy Community,

It is with great pleasure that I announce the addition of our Office Manager/Registrar, Bri Jones! In the coming weeks, as we all transition to full-time school, Bri will be there every day with all of us — learners, families, and facilitators!

We have been working hard getting more and more things ready. For example:

  • Creating the schedules for all grade levels
  • Completing our last Star Search for two facilitators
  • Working with Cherry Creek School District on streamlined systems and reporting between our two organizations
  • Finalizing your Back to School Packet
  • Contracting with Mile High Catering for our lunch program, including online ordering!
  • For your planning as the school year approaches:
    – Before-School Coverage – 7-8 a.m.
    – After-School Programming – 3:45-6 p.m.

Please watch for the Back to School Packet being sent through SchoolMint that contains important information, forms we need from you, a school supplies list, etc. Complete these forms as soon as you can to help us transition to a smooth start to the school year. Also, please watch the website for upcoming details on our Before School and After School programming. Information from Mile High Catering will be posted soon, in the event you want to sign up for lunches.

Soaring with Colorado SKIES,
Suzanne E. Acheson, M. Ed.
