csa building 2023

Colorado SKIES Academy Families,

We are off and running in Q3, and things seem to be going well for learners and facilitators as they dive into the more complex concepts in their core classes. The feedback on the new schedule has been overwhelmingly positive from both learners and facilitators, and it’s been a joy to see everyone working together and supporting each other to start the 2nd semester on a positive note.

It was nice to see the 6th graders able to use the flight simulators at Exploration of Flight on Friday. Thank you to the volunteer parents who came to assist. It is because of your involvement that we can make these opportunities possible. One of the 7th-grade classes goes on Monday, and they are very excited to get back in the swing of it!

The 8th graders have their Drone Soccer Tournament this Friday, February 2nd, from 10-12 pm at Exploration of Flight. Family and friends are invited to observe and cheer them on!

Call for Help: CSA has a significant number of Chromebooks that are in need of repair, whether it’s key replacement, screen replacement, investigating issues, etc. We do not have an on-site technical support person but do have remote support that can assist with troubleshooting, so if any parents are able to help, please email info@coloradoskiesacademy.org. Thank you in advance!

Please read the articles in this week’s message, including the board-approved academic calendar for the 2024-25 school year, information about Ms. Uta’s Cooking Club for Quarter 3, an update from PAC (Parent Action Committee), the latest news from Athletic Development, summer camp details from local providers, upcoming events details, and more.

In gratitude,

Directors Coryell and Motley
