Dear Colorado SKIES Academy Families,
It was great seeing your learners’ knowledge and growth highlighted last week in each grade level’s Presentation of Learning! We appreciate all the positive feedback we received and are committed to improving in the areas brought forward. We will also conduct an in-person and virtual refresher on what learning looks like here at CSA this week, so please be on the lookout for more information in the coming days.
We also want to extend our extreme gratitude to the Parent Action Committee for their hard work and flawless execution in bringing a wonderful Winter Festival Dance to our learners last Friday. It was apparent that everyone had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Special thanks to Ms. Gispan for offering her photo booth, a highlight of the afternoon, and to Mr. & Mrs. Romero for providing the amazing DJ, who made the dance a memory that will last forever!
Friendly reminder to CURRENT CSA families: please complete the Intent to Return/Not Return form by December 31, 2023.
We hope that your learner told you about the fantastic information session that was held on Thursday with Elite Speed Sports Performance, where they showed learners exactly what kinds of programming they offer during Thursday’s Athletic Development after-school club and also hopefully during the new club on Tuesdays that will focus on Speed, Agility, Quickness Training (SAQ-360 POWER) starting in January. We currently have three families that have expressed an interest in joining this club, and we need at least ten learners to participate to begin.
Please read more about SAQ-360 POWER here and send an email this week to info@coloradoskiesacademy.org if you’re interested in having your learner participate.
Please read the articles in this week’s message including information about vision and hearing screening from Nurse Emma, an update from PAC (Parent Action Committee), new information about school pictures, upcoming events details, and more.
In gratitude,
Directors Coryell and Motley
