Dear Colorado SKIES Academy Families,

Here we go! We are so excited to welcome your learners back to school this Monday, August 14 to begin the 2023-2024 education journey with them!

Thank you to everyone who attended the New Learner Orientation and Back to School Block Party last Wednesday. We hope that you and your learner got the information you needed and had some fun. Rest assured, if you weren’t able to make it to the event, we will be ready on Monday morning to welcome your learner. We will provide them with their schedule and elective choices, handle any other logistical needs, and most importantly, make sure that they have a great first day of school!

Important update: Learners who have completed the CSA Enrollment Packet should come to school on Monday, regardless of the status of the Cherry Creek parent portal setup!

A few reminders about back-to-school topics:

  • Join the CSA Family Connection Facebook page.
  • Follow the Colorado SKIES Academy Facebook page.
  • Carpool Signup: once you sign up, you should receive a confirmation email with the map link. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox. For reference, the carpool map may also be found on this page.
  • Learner fees can be paid here.
  • Punch passes for after-school clubs can be purchased here.
  • The CSA Spirit Store is now live directly through our website! If there’s anything you’d like to see in the store that isn’t there currently, please email info@coloradoskiesacademy.org to request that item.
  • As stated last week, the revised Family Guidebook was board approved at the last meeting and has been published on the website here. This includes the continued policy of having school fees in lieu of a school supply list. For the 2023/2024 academic year, fees are $200 per learner. Please refer to the family guidebook for more information.

Please check out the “Upcoming Events” calendar, including aviation-focused events happening next door at Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight, as well as the detailed articles below for more information regarding:
