We are excited to introduce the newest (and fluffiest) member of our CSA community, Ivy, our school therapy dog! Ivy happens to be our Campus Director’s Meredith Motley’s beloved pup. Ivy is here to provide comfort, support, and a little extra joy to our learners throughout the school day.
Therapy dogs like Ivy offer numerous benefits to students, including:
- Emotional Support – A calming presence that helps ease anxiety and stress.
- Encouraging Focus – Studies show that therapy dogs can help improve concentration and motivation.
- Social Connection – Ivy creates a welcoming environment and encourages positive interactions.
- Decompression Time – Whether it’s a quick pet or a quiet moment together, Ivy provides a much-needed break during busy school days.
We cannot wait for our learners to experience the positive impact Ivy brings to CSA. If you have any questions about our therapy dog program, feel free to reach out.
Welcome to the team, Ivy!
