As stated last week, we’ve heard the feedback loud and clear that an earlier start time is not what you want next year so we are working vigorously to update our academic calendar and bell schedule to continue the existing schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm and 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday.
We anticipate still following a block schedule (A/B days, splitting learners’ classes across two days) and will provide more information in the coming weeks. As a reminder, the block schedule consists of 90-minute periods and will allow our learners the opportunity to really dive into their integrated projects across all content areas. Your learner’s Flight Crew will be the same group of learners to further build their community and relationships with one another.
Learners can be dropped off as early as 7:00 am, and we will continue to have after-school activities and clubs to support working parents. Please keep an eye out for more details as we get closer to the start of the year.
Also, every learner will have FREE lunch available to them, thanks to our generous taxpayers!
