Thank you to the CSA parents who attended the training over the last couple of weeks. Even if you weren’t able to attend a training session, we’d still love any assistance you can provide to help our facilitators while our learners are at EoF. We are excited to announce our weekly schedule to attend Exploration of Flight (EoF). This experience will give learners the thrill of flight in pilot-quality simulators!
- Learners will be using the simulators on Mondays and Fridays for 1.5 hours. This schedule will give each grade level at least one visit per month to the museum.
- The use of the simulator will begin the week after Fall Break with one 6th grade class visiting on Monday, October 23rd, from 8:30-10:00 am, and the second 6th grade class will visit on Friday, October 27th, from 9:30-11:00 am.
- The 7th grade will have their simulator time during the week of October 30th on the same days and times.
- The 8th grade will be at EoF the week of November 6th on the same days and times.
- Please remember that anytime we don’t have 4 volunteer parents for the day, we will have to cancel our visit.
The full schedule of days and times will be published on our Community Calendar very soon, and we will use SignUp to track volunteer hours. Thank you!
Colorado SKIES Academy is a free public charter school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District, open to students throughout the Arapahoe County and Douglas County areas.
This STEAM middle school serving grades 6-8 is located at Centennial Airport next to Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight.
