Supporting CSA Learners

Dear Colorado SKIES Academy Families,

The middle school years are a time of significant growth and change for our learners. As they navigate new academic challenges and increased independence, we at Colorado SKIES Academy are committed to supporting them in developing essential life skills, including responsibility, organization, and self-advocacy.

One of the best ways to help learners feel prepared for a full day of learning is by fostering healthy habits at home. A consistent sleep schedule, balanced nutrition, and structured study routines can greatly enhance focus and overall well-being. Additionally, staying hydrated throughout the day supports energy levels and cognitive function, helping learners stay engaged and ready to learn.

We encourage our learners to take ownership of their education by asking questions, seeking help when needed, and managing their time effectively. By working together—school, family, and learner—we can create a supportive environment that fosters success both inside and outside the classroom.

Thank you for partnering with us in guiding our learners through these important years of growth.

If you have any questions or need additional resources, please reach out.

Kind regards,
Jennifer Tilghman, Chief of Staff
