Dear Colorado SKIES Academy Families,
It was so great to see some of you at our third family night of the summer on Wednesday! Thank you very much to all who joined us and helped spread the word about these unique events! We had quite a few families in our building taking part in:
Next week, we’ll complete aerospace-themed STEM challenge stations, and in the following weeks, we’ll explore other fun topics like piloting jet fighters and rocket engineering. If you are interested in Civil Air Patrol, we will have a couple of cadets present during each family night to answer questions, talk about their experiences, and provide more information about meetings and logistics. There will be pizza, drinks, and snacks available for purchase, and we have a wheel spin for CSA swag!
We are always looking for parent and learner volunteers to help us during our recruiting and community-building events. Please visit this signup genius link to see other places that we’ll be this summer and sign up to help get the word out about our fantastic school! More learners in our program will allow us more opportunities to offer electives and clubs, and I hope you’ll join me at an event or two to talk about your experience at CSA. As always, please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
Please check out the “Upcoming Events” calendar as well as the detailed articles below for more information regarding:
Sincerely,
Christa
