Glider Program Colorado Skies Academy

Directors’ Message:

CSA Families,

Kindness is contagious at Colorado SKIES Academy. The first two weeks of school have been filled with learners, facilitators, parents and staff members making CSA a better place. We are so grateful for parents who have donated school supplies, delivered rain ponchos and provided donuts for the entire staff. The CSA building was ready for the start of the year because a group of parents gave weekend time to paint and hang backpack hooks. We have also received financial donations, a plant for the office and smiles with a thumbs up. You are amazing!

Colorado SKIES Academy now has a library, organized and ready because parents unpacked boxes and shelved books for hours. The block party was a huge success due to the organization and planning of our Parent Action Committee. We appreciate You.

Our learners are equally impressive. They have opened doors, comforted friends who were having a tough day, offered to pick up trash and demonstrated the best attitudes. One visitor commented that CSA has a positive feel. The learners are so kind. Kindness must be contagious at CSA.

According to Psychology Today, ‘Kindness means a behavioral response of compassion and actions that are selfless; or a mindset that places compassion for others before one’s own interests.’ The miracle of kindness is that it is contagious and something we should all want to pass on and spread to many others.’ Psychology Today

CSA, you are off to an excellent start! The regular acts of kindness at Colorado SKIES Academy have increased our happiness and positivity. Your compassion has promoted gratitude within us.

CSA, thank you for your compassion and actions that are selfless. You have put the interests of others before your own. We appreciate all you are doing!

Please take a moment to review our Monday Message and feel free to reach out to me if I can be of any assistance,

Sincerely,

Anne Wodetzki
