Dear Colorado Skies Academy Families,

At Colorado Skies Academy, we believe learning should be meaningful, engaging, and connected to the real world. That’s why Project-Based Learning (PBL) is at the core of our approach. PBL allows our learners to go beyond textbooks and take on real-world challenges through hands-on projects. Whether they’re designing model aircraft, exploring flight systems, or solving engineering problems, our learners are developing skills that matter—not just for school, but for life. The benefits of PBL for your learner include:

Colorado SKIES Academy is a free public charter school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District, open to students throughout the Arapahoe County and Douglas County areas. This STEAM middle school serving grades 6-8 is located at Centennial Airport next to Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight.
