Fall Return Dates

Please read the details below about the upcoming Fall Start Dates!

New Family Orientation is on Wednesday, August 9 from 3:30-5:30 pm:

  • Starting a new school year or school can be a stressful experience, and we want to reduce the stress as much as possible. To assist with the transition, we are providing a mandatory New Learner Orientation session from 3:30-5:30 pm for all incoming learners and their families to ensure everyone feels comfortable walking in on the first day of school.
  • The first part of the afternoon focuses on understanding the family guidebook and the second part focuses on understanding how project-based learning works for learners who’ve never experienced it. We will discuss our grading policies and even practice using a rubric with a model project that YOU get to complete! We understand that families are busy, but please make this day a priority! You will get so many questions answered and feel ready to hit the ground running on August 14.

Back to School Block Party for all families, new and returning on Wednesday, August 9 from 5:45-7:45 pm:

  • New and returning families will rotate through stations to complete all of the necessary paperwork and procedures to start the year off on the right foot. Learners will pick up their squadron assignments and schedules, meet their facilitators, make elective choices, and check out the after-school clubs. Parents will sign up for volunteer opportunities with our Parent Action Committee (PAC), School Accountability Committee (SAC), or even join our Board.

They will also:

  • Complete their registration with Raptor to make visitor check-in run more smoothly throughout the year
  • Set up learner accounts with Titan for Health & Nutrition
  • Login to the Parent Portal to ensure everything is running smoothly
  • Sign agreements (photo and video release, Chromebook use agreement, cell phone use agreement, etc…)
  • Pay learner fees
  • Meet the nurse and fill out any required medication forms and/or drop off medications
  • Pick up the car line number and map
  • Check out our Spirit Wear store on our website!

Fun for everyone will be outside in the parking lot will include:

  • Foam Party!!
  • Kona Ice and Chibby Wibbits Sliderz n Bitez Food Trucks with delicious food for sale
  • Games like 9-square, Cornhole, and giant Jenga
  • Make new friends!

Our First Day of School is on Monday, August 14.
