Today, rocket launches carrying satellites into space take place nearly 200 times every year. Today, a new space race is underway. We’ve seen the Apollo Era, the Shuttle Era, and now we are in the Orion Era. “The Apollo era inspired generations to dream big and act big. The Shuttle era allowed us to build a massive orbiting world-class research laboratory and maintain a constant human presence in space. We now have the Orion era ready to inspire today’s youth to venture further than ever. Human space exploration has and will continue to inspire scientists, engineers, policymakers, artists, and writers to change our lives on Earth.
