Starting a new school year or school can be a stressful experience, and we want to reduce the stress as much as possible. To assist with the transition, we are providing a mandatory New Learner Orientation session from 5:00-7:00 pm for all incoming learners and their families to make sure everyone feels comfortable walking in on the first day of school. The first part of the afternoon focuses on understanding the family guidebook, and the second part focuses on understanding how project-based learning works for learners who’ve never experienced it. We will discuss our grading policies and even practice using a rubric with a model project that YOU get to do! We understand that families are busy, but please make this day a priority! You will get so many questions answered and feel ready to hit the ground running on the first day of school.
