The first week of October is incredibly important for Colorado school funding. This is the week that very careful attendance is taken in every classroom across the state and records are reviewed to determine how many students are actually attending every single school – and thus, how much funding each school will receive for the year.
It is imperative that we have as many of our learners in attendance the week of October 2nd-6th as possible. This will help us ensure that we receive the appropriate amount of money from the State to fund our school – including paying our fantastic facilitators.

Colorado SKIES Academy is a free public charter school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District, open to students throughout the Arapahoe County and Douglas County areas.
This STEAM middle school serving grades 6-8 is located at Centennial Airport next to Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight.
