Good afternoon CSA community,
We hope this email finds you well and that you’re off to a great start for Winter Break! We want to make our families aware of staffing and scheduling changes that will be implemented upon our return in January. Ms. Soni is leaving us to pursue her passion in special education, and we thank her for her dedication and support to CSA over the last few months. Ms. Soni’s kindness and compassion for kids are evident in everything she does, and we wish her great success as she starts this next adventure.
Ms. Biviano, who has been facilitating the 7th-grade math classes for the last couple of months, will be moving to a Care Team member role, and we are ecstatic that she will continue being a part of our team. Her grace and empathy with our learners is well served in the care team role, and we look forward to seeing the continued positive impacts she makes as a staff member at Colorado SKIES Academy!
Ms. Tori, who has been the long-term substitute for Ms. Griffin after her departure earlier this month, has joined CSA as a full-time CSA facilitator. Ms. Tori has fit right in and developed genuine bonds with our learners in a very short period of time. She has been instrumental in getting the 6th graders back on track and excited about math and science and has also made an impact on the other grade levels with her infectious smile and welcoming demeanor. We are so excited that she has decided to join the CSA team and look forward to the positive impacts she brings to our school!
With these changes in our staff, we will be switching from grade-level focused facilitators to content-level focused facilitators who will teach their subjects across all grade levels. We believe that this will allow for more consistency and continuity with our learners and improve their learning experience at CSA. Please see the list of facilitators by content area below that will be in place on January 9th. We will also publish our bell schedule on the website here.
We recognize that the turnover in staff so far this year has been disconcerting, and we appreciate your support and partnership through the changes. We look forward to an improved experience for both learners and their families as we bring the deep institutional knowledge from our veteran facilitators to all grade levels to start the second quarter.

Facilitator Responsibilities
- Ms. Motley will continue to teach ELA across all grade levels.
- Ms. G will take over 6th grade Social Studies in addition to 7th and 8th.
- Ms. Subba will be the Science facilitator across all grade levels.
- Ms. Tori will teach all math classes.
- Mr. Cronin is moving to the full-time Makery facilitator
- Mrs. Pierce continues teaching Exploratory to all grade levels.
- Learners will be choosing their third quarter electives when we return to school on January 9th.
