This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our amazing sixth-grade English Language Arts facilitator, Mrs. Ali Buckendahl! With seven years of teaching experience, Miss Buckendahl enjoys helping learners discover the magic of reading, writing, and learning. Whether it’s through meaningful discussions or fun, interactive assignments, she’s always finds creative ways to make class engaging.

When she’s not in the classroom, you can find Mrs. Buckendahl enjoying a good board game or video game, or getting lost in a thrilling novel. She’s been happily married to her husband, Arson, for nearly three years, and at home, she shares her space with two lovable pets—a giant Maine Coon cat named Dart and a Husky-Great Dane mix named Magic.

Colorado SKIES Academy

Colorado SKIES Academy is a free public charter school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District, open to students throughout the Arapahoe County and Douglas County areas. This STEAM middle school serving grades 6-8 is located at Centennial Airport next to Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight.
