Craig Kemper is the 7th and 8th-grade Language Arts facilitator at Colorado SKIES Academy. Craig was born in New Mexico and raised in Colorado. He began his teaching career in 2021 and has also served as a football coach. Passionate about U.S. history—particularly World War II—Craig brings the past to life in his classroom, inspiring curiosity and sparking meaningful discussions among his students.
One of Craig’s favorite ways to engage learners is by setting up mock trials—literally acting out history to help them analyze and evaluate key moments. He’s especially proud of the growth that his learners have shown this year, particularly in their MAP scores and overall academic achievement. Outside of school, Craig enjoys going to rodeos and bull riding events, and he stays active by playing sports.
Fun fact: While attending Maranatha Baptist University, Craig was both a football coach and the school’s SaberCat mascot—bringing energy to the sidelines in more ways than one! CSA is fortunate to have such energy in the classroom!
