Reminder to order your yearbooks in the front office via the QR code before May 9th!
Participate in the Pop Open a Book Challenge!
- Congrats to Callen for being the first reader to get a $10.00 gift card to Amazon!
- Read a book at or above your grade level, take a comprehension quiz and an earn a POP and a GIFT-CARD! Talk to Mrs. Buck, Mr. Kemper, or Mrs. Lucas to take the quiz.
From Spirit of CSA: Wanted to wish everyone a HAPPY SPRING! Spirit has two fun opportunities for you.
- #1 Duck Hunt is on! There are hidden rubber sparkle ducks around the building-find duck and bring it to Mrs. Motley’s room to earn a prize. Happy Duck Hunting!
- #2 Jelly Bean Guessing Game: Guess how many jellybeans are in the jar and win a ducky stuffed animal. The cost of guessing is 25 cents per guess. Write down your guesses and the winner will be announced April 18th.
Presentation of Learning (POL) Project Four is coming up soon! Dates below:
- 6th Grade- Tuesday, May 6th
- 7th Grade- Monday, May 5th at EOF
- 8th Grade- Monday, May 5th at EOF
Snacks for Sale starting Monday April 7th:
- We will be selling snacks for after school!! It is the same snack we sell during lunch! We will only be taking cash for afterschool so please send that with the learners. We will sell snacks on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only.
- The special for this week is: Buy one get one free of the Doritos cool ranch!
Lastly, CSA will now offer a daily study hall time. Please read the message below from 7/8 ELA Facilitators Craig Kemper and Donald Eldridge to learn more:
- We want to express our gratitude for your ongoing support. We are pleased to inform you that CSA will offer a daily study hall time for learners with a D or F in one of their content classes. Learners will be pulled from their last elective of the day based on the recommendation of their Facilitator. Additionally, Facilitator assistance will be available on an as-needed basis. Thank you for your attention to this important initiative aimed at helping our learners succeed.
