Attention Interested Drone Pilots and Parents! The CSA Drone Soccer Informational Meeting is this Tuesday, September 12th from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.
Please join us at CSA to learn more about Drone Soccer. This extracurricular activity offers CSA learners opportunities to gain engineering and piloting skills in the fastest-growing e-sport in the US!
- Fall 2023 – Spring 2024 CSA Drone Soccer Team Fee of $500 per learner covers the following:
- Pilot jackets/patches
- Team t-shirt for competitions/events
- CSA Facilitator coverage (Coaches are Parent Volunteers)
- Competition fees (typically $100/team + $15-25/pilot per competition)
- Organizational School League Team fees (typically $150/annually)
- Replacement parts and batteries
- Drone storage/transportation/miscellaneous equipment
- Coach certification costs
- Regular Practice Schedule at CSA:
- 2 days/week when school is in session
- Mondays 3:45-5:00 pm
- Thursdays 5:30-7:15 pm
- Note: Summer 2024 practices TBD
- Parent Volunteerism is Required:
- 3x-6x per month per family
- At practices, competitions, and other events
- All parent volunteers will train in battery charging/safety

- Overview of competitions & additional experiences
- Fundraising
- Selection process details, if required
Colorado SKIES Academy is a free public charter school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District, open to students throughout the Arapahoe County and Douglas County areas.
This STEAM middle school serving grades 6-8 is located at Centennial Airport next to Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight.
