It’s typical around January and February for learners to begin to “backslide” away from some of their more disciplined behavior choices. We have been seeing that a bit since returning from Winter Break and wanted to ask for your assistance in this area.
Specifically, we have seen a tendency for a few learners to attempt to derail a class by continuing to talk or act out rather than allowing the facilitator to do their job. This kind of disruptive behavior in the classroom cannot be tolerated, as it negatively impacts the learning environment for every learners.
As we are more than halfway through the school year and we expect learners to know and follow the expectations at this point, we will be continuing to take a strict approach to discipline for learners who choose to disrupt classes while they are at school, including suspension.
Please help us by conveying to your learner the seriousness of choosing to disrupt others at school. Thank you for your assistance in ensuring that CSA is a place where everyone can learn!
