Lately we have seen an uptick in students using their phones during the school day when they aren’t allowed to be doing so. Now that we are more than halfway through the school year, any cell phone that a staff member sees during an inappropriate time will be taken and given to the front office for the student to pick up on their way out to car line. If the student has gotten their phone taken away previously, a parent/guardian will have to come into the front office in order to pick up the phone.
Please help us help you (and your learner) by reminding them that they are allowed to be using their phone ONLY during lunch/recess and after the 3:30 pm bell rings. At all other times, including snack time, student phones should be turned off and in backpacks. Thank you!
