Artemis Rocket Launch Watch Party

NOTE: The Artemis launch scheduled for Aug. 29th was postponed. alternative launch dates are Friday, September 2, or Monday, September 5th (Labor Day). Please check the NASA website for further updates. 

The NASA MEGA rocket named Artemis I is heading to the moon with robots to precede our manned launches later this decade. Families with children currently attending 4th-8th grade at any school are invited to join us in celebrating this historic event with a community watch party! RSVP to participate in our Passport Activity, but note registration is required to simply watch the livestream of the event with us. We also have about 24 “watch from home” links, so if you can’t attend in person, use the RSVP link to inquire about more information or at-home access.

Colorado SKIES Academy is a free public charter school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District, open to students throughout the Arapahoe County and Douglas County areas. This STEAM middle school serving grades 6-8 is located at Centennial Airport next to Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight.
