Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight in Englewood

This is a great opportunity to meet potential facilitator candidates (what we call “teachers”) and see them in action. During downtime is a great opportunity to tour the museum.

9am – 9:30am: OPTIONAL FOR FAMILIES: Coffee and Overview about the Day for Facilitator Candidates

9:30am – 10am: Parent Q&A

10am – 12pm: 30-minute Design Challenge Rotations

12pm – 12:30pm: Lunch, $7 Hamburger, Cheeseburger, or Hot Dog, Chips, Soda or Water. *Proceeds go to the Exploration of Flight Drone Zone

12:30pm – 1:30pm: Parent Q&A/Facilitator Candidates meet in teams to create a PBL project

1:30pm – 1:45pm: OPTIONAL FOR FAMILIES: Facilitator Candidates present their projects

Colorado SKIES Academy

Colorado SKIES Academy is a free public charter school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District, open to students throughout the Arapahoe County and Douglas County areas. This STEAM middle school serving grades 6-8 is located at Centennial Airport next to Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight.
