*Materials: Learners will download and use the Minecraft Education Edition on a cellphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. This can be done on the school computer.
Tuesday – Digital Arts: Learn the basics of digital art and composition, digital photography, video creation, and how to make a GIF.
*Materials – Learners need a computer or phone with a camera.
Wednesday – Chess Club: Playing chess increases thinking skills (problem solving and logic skills). Join us for a friendly game and occasional competitions.
Thursday – VR Rec Room: Socialize, play games, and have fun! Each week learners will explore all that the Rec Room has to offer. This includes, but is not limited to: sports, laser tag, racing, quests and more! The Rec Room VR facilitator provides a safe and engaging space in which all learners of various interests are welcome to explore a world beyond reality. *Please note, the VR Rec Room Club requires learners to register by Wednesday of each week. Email info@worldover.org to reserve a spot (first come, first serve). Learners must bring their own Oculus Quest 2 headset.
Friday – Movie Club: End your week with popcorn and a movie. Movie themes include aviation, space, science fiction, and social-emotional connections.
