Hi, CSA!
First and foremost, I hope you’ll plan to attend the CSA Town Hall on Wednesday, December 9, at 7:00 p.m. There will be a short presentation on the general plans for returning to in-person learning, the timeline, and other information. Then, the meeting will be open for you to ask questions and provide feedback to the panel, which will consist of the following:
- Two members of the CSA Board of Directors
- School director and assistant school director
- Two facilitators
- CSA’s nurse consultant
As I mentioned in my previous Monday Messages, and as all of you know, in-person learning is essential to the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our learners. We need to hear from you, our CSA community, and we hope you will attend. The link to the meeting was sent Friday, December 4, and will be sent again on December 8 via Blackboard Connect.
Grades
Since all families have access to PowerSchool, CSA does not prepare and mail home grade reports until the end of the school year. Grades have been updated and are available for viewing in PowerSchool.
Thank Your Facilitators!
Our facilitators are doing a fantastic job online! I hope you are seeing the effort they’re putting into the classes, including incorporating some camaraderie and fun on Fridays in their Advisory classes. During this time, our learners need to be able to socialize and interact with their classmates. They are an awesome team!
Welcome New Facilitators!
A warm welcome to Mr. Pelucacci, aka “Mr. P,” our Grade 7/8 Language Arts facilitator who replaced Mrs. Been. Welcome aboard to Ms. Pye, aka “Ms. Jay,” our Grade 7/8 Math facilitator who replaced Mrs. Pinnell.
Warm regards,
Suzanne Acheson
School Director
