We are thrilled to announce our brand-new after-school club schedule, designed to inspire creativity, foster mindfulness, and build community among our learners. Each day of the week offers a unique opportunity for students to explore new interests, develop skills, and connect with their peers.
Here’s what’s happening each day after school:
Monday- Mindful Me:
Join the after-school wellness club for a journey into relaxation and self-care! Learners will explore meditation techniques, enjoy calming music, and learn beginner-friendly yoga poses to promote mindfulness, reduce stress, and build inner peace. This club is open to all skill levels and provides the perfect way to unwind after a busy school day while creating healthy habits for the mind and body.
Tuesday- Art Club:
Dive into the world of creativity as we explore various art mediums in our quest for self-expression. From painting and drawing to mixed media and sculpture, learners will have the chance to unleash their inner artist in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Wednesday- Dungeons and Dragons:
Embark on an epic adventure with our after-school Dungeons and Dragons club, where imagination knows no bounds. Set on the rugged terrain of Mars, learners will journey through a world where red sands conceal ancient secrets and mysterious creatures. Whether seasoned adventurers or new to the game, all are welcome to create legendary characters, forge alliances, and explore a world of strategy, storytelling, and camaraderie.
Thursday- Trailblazers:
Welcome to Trailblazers: Adventures and Skills Club! Inspired by the values of scouting but with a unique twist, this club focuses on hands-on learning, building friendships, and having fun. Each session will feature activities that encourage exploration and skill-building. We are also gauging interest in forming our own troop, so participation in this club could lead to even more exciting opportunities!
Friday- Creatively Write:
Explore the world of poetry and written expression in Creatively Write! From slam poetry to formal verse, learners will experiment with all forms of poetic expression. This club also dives into the art of cursive and calligraphy, using old-fashioned pens and ink to explore the beauty of handwriting styles. It’s a fun and creative way to end the week while sparking imagination and developing writing skills.
Club Participation Expectations:
Please note that participation in after-school clubs is expected and not optional. These clubs are a valuable extension of our learners’ educational experience and offer opportunities to grow in creativity, teamwork, and skill-building. We look forward to seeing your learners embrace these new opportunities and make the most of our after-school program!
