Message from the Director

Welcome back, Colorado Skies Academy families!

We hope you had a wonderful holiday break and could relax and recharge with your loved ones. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the unpredictable Colorado weather. As we all know, the weather in our state can change quickly and unexpectedly, and we appreciate your flexibility and cooperation when we need to make last-minute schedule adjustments. We’re excited to soar into the second half of the school year and make it an amazing one!

We’re happy to share two potential developments for the upcoming school year below:

  1. Homeschool Enrichment Edition: Colorado Skies Academy is exploring the possibility of offering a homeschool enrichment program for the 2025-2026 school year. The CSI board will review and vote on our charter modification application in February. Stay tuned for updates!
  2. Transportation Services: We’re also investigating the option to offer transportation services starting in fall 2025. The proposed route would cover areas near I-225 to I-70 and return to CSA via E-470. We’ll keep you informed as this plan develops.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to sharing more information soon!

    • Friendly reminder that Monday, January 20, is Martin Luther King Day. In observance of this holiday, there will be no school for learners or staff.
    • Please remind your learner to check the Lost and Found. It is full of coats, water bottles, and planners.

In closing, please read through the articles in this week’s Flight Plan which includes updates about our Weekly Flight Simulator Training and the upcoming Skies the Limit Bazaar. Thank you for being part of the Colorado Skies Academy community!

In partnership, Directors Coryell and Motley
