Colorado SKIES Academy Families,
We have fantastic news to share with our CSA community!
Last Tuesday, May 21st, the Charter School Institute (CSI) Board of Directors voted unanimously to approve CSA’s charter authorization transfer! Colorado SKIES Academy has a three-year charter with an automatic two-year extension. As Director Coryell mentioned in the Community Meeting last month, our educational model remains the same, and there won’t be noticeable changes to the learners' and families' experiences. The administrators will work over the summer to ensure that the school’s policies, governance, and operations meet CSI requirements and expectations.
On behalf of the entire CSA staff, thank you for sharing your children with us over the last school year! We hope you have a wonderful summer and look forward to welcoming our families back in August for the 2024-2025 school year!
We are so excited to continue the positive momentum achieved this year in providing the gold standard in project-based learning and social-emotional learning that our kids deserve.
