Colorado SKIES Academy Families,
Thank you to each and every family for helping our week of CMAS testing go as smoothly as possible! I would like to publicly recognize our staff, as they have worked incredibly hard and done a fantastic job! Special thanks to Meredith Motley, who acted as the School Assessment Coordinator this year.
Despite a few challenges thrown our way, testing went extremely well and the bulk of testing has been completed. This week, we will pull learners for any makeup testing remaining. Keep up the great work, everyone!
Thank you to everyone that attended our Community Meeting last week. It was a pleasure to share the latest information with you about our proposed charter authorization transfer and answer your questions. If you would like to watch the recording of the meeting, you can find it here.
CALLING ALL PARENTS AND FAMILIES! CSA’s hiring event, Star Search, is THIS Wednesday, April 17th. We’re looking for two more parents to participate and provide their feedback on the candidates. You’re welcome to join us for any or all of the day! Please email christa.coryell@csacs.org if you’d like to join us.
Class picture orders are still being accepted, and this is the final week to order yearbooks. To purchase a class picture of your learner’s Flight Crew (Advisory), please visit mylifetouch.com and use the CSA school ID EVTNJGTBW. To order a CSA yearbook, please visit ybpay.com and use our unique school code 14730924.
A friendly reminder to thoroughly review the CSA Community Calendar to see the new events added over the last couple weeks, including each grade level’s end-of-year experience field trip (6th, 7th, 8th Day 1 & 8th Day 2), the all-school Boondocks field trip, 8th grade graduation, and more. The last Presentation of Learning days have also been added to the calendar (6th POL: Poetry Slam, 7th POL: Mutations/Microgravity, 8th POL: Glider Planes).
Have a great week!
In gratitude,
Directors Coryell and Motley
