As communicated previously, school hours will be Monday through Thursday, 8:00-3:30 pm, and 8:00-1:00 pm on Friday.

We anticipate still following a block schedule (A/B days, splitting classes across two days). As a reminder, the block schedule consists of 90-minute periods and will allow our learners the opportunity to really dive into their integrated projects across all content areas. Your learner’s Flight Crew will be the same group of learners to further build their community and relationships with one another.

Learners can be dropped off as early as 7:00 am, and we will continue to have after-school activities and clubs to support working parents. The after-school activity schedule is: 

Monday: Cooking Club

Tuesday: Minecraft Club

Wednesday: Chess & Board Games

Thursday: Athletic Development

Friday: Movie Club

Also, every learner will have FREE lunch available to them, thanks to our generous taxpayers!

Colorado SKIES Academy

Colorado SKIES Academy is a free public charter school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District, open to students throughout the Arapahoe County and Douglas County areas. This STEAM middle school serving grades 6-8 is located at Centennial Airport next to Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight.
