Keep an eye out for a digital sign-up sheet coming out next week. We are asking parents who can volunteer 45 minutes to chaperone learners as they venture over to get some flight simulation training over at Exploration of Flight. It would be between around 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. for 7th graders, and 2:30 p.m. for 6th and 8th graders. We want to make sure our learners have the best experience over there and need your support to do this. Aviation knowledge and experience is a plus but not required.
Colorado SKIES Academy is a free public charter school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District, open to students throughout the Arapahoe County and Douglas County areas.
This STEAM middle school serving grades 6-8 is located at Centennial Airport next to Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight.
