We are looking forward to welcoming our new and returning learners to campus beginning Monday, August 16! We will have in-person learning five days per week. We are so excited to begin a new year filled with new and amazing learning adventures.

School Supplies
Facilitators have created lists of classroom needs for the upcoming school year. This list was shared with Edukit last spring. The goal was for Edukit to provide a service for families purchasing school supplies. Due to a limited number of orders received and current supply chain restrictions, families who have purchased the kits will receive a reimbursement. Those supplies would be dispersed between appropriate grade levels. Each family will be responsible only for paying a supply fee per student of $20. This will cover any supplies needed for all learners over the course of the year. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
Registration
The registration process here at Colorado SKIES Academy is to fill out an Intent to Enroll form. Once accepted, you are asked to fill out our enrollment application. If you are living in the Cherry Creek School District, then you will not need to enroll into the district again. If you are coming from outside the district, please click here for instructions to complete the registration process. If you have any questions regarding enrollment, please call the office at 720-400-7612.
New School Lunch Program
We are excited to announce that we have teamed up with Cherry Creek Food and Nutrition Services for the 2021-22 school year! Due to COVID reimbursements for the government-funded school programs, lunch and breakfast will be FREE for every CSA learner this year! We would appreciate it if each family could help us by filling out this quick survey to make sure that we are meeting your needs.
Daily Schedule
Our daily schedule for learners is as follows:
Morning drop-off begins at 7:30 through the car line of the building.
Free breakfast is served to all learners from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.
Dismissal begins at 3:30 PM each Monday through Thursday and 1:00 PM each Friday. Please use the car lines with two lines for pickup.
What Will My Learner’s Daily Schedule Look Like?
COVID – Face Masks
At this time, the Colorado Department of Health is recommending the use of face masks for all unvaccinated learners and staff. Until this policy is updated, Colorado SKIES Academy learners, staff members and visitors will be asked to wear a mask when entering the building.
Monday, August 9: New Learner Orientation, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Lunch Provided.
Please join us for a brief orientation for your learner to see the building and be introduced to basic building procedures. To assist with social distancing, we ask that only newly enrolled learners and their guardians attend this event.
Thursday, August 12, 2021: CSA Family Block Party, 5:00-7:00 PM
Bring the entire family for food, fun, music, and games. Families will also be able to visit information booths on the following topics: Spirit Wear, School Supplies, Lunch Program, Hobby Quest After-School Program, Meet other Families, and Wings.
Monday, August 16: First Day of School
Thursday, August 19: Back to School Night, 5:30 – 7:00 PM
Before/After School Care
We are excited to continue to offer our popular Before and After Care program with Hobby Quest. Before Care will be available Monday through Friday from 7:30-8:00 AM for free, supervised by a CSA staff member. After Care will be available Monday through Thursday from 3:00-6:00 PM and Fridays from 1:00-6:00 PM at an hourly rate. Monday Message and School Website
The Monday Message is sent out each week to all our families with articles, upcoming events, pictures of learners, updates and other pertinent information regarding school activities. *Admittance to Exploration of Flight is free for CSA Learners with their student membership. The EoF staff has a list of current CSA learners so all they need to do is give their name!
New CSA families receive a 20% discount on family memberships to Wings Over the Rockies Museum, valid at both museum locations (Centennial & Lowry). A daily entry fee may also be paid to gain entry to the events at the museum. Please contact christa.coryell@coloradoskiesacademy.org for more information about museum memberships for CSA families.
