Originally scheduled for last Friday, the 6th Grade Weather Balloon Launch is currently TBD. We will keep you posted. When the event occurs, we will be launching two weather balloons with sixth grade learners’ experiments attached. We will be inviting parents to join us in this fun and engaging event. The CSA Balloon Launch will take place at Exploration of Flight – Wings Over the Rockies. Each balloon will have a frame with a camera, temperature/pressure sensor, satellite tracker, and of course our learner’s projects. Again the date and time is To Be Determined.
Colorado SKIES Academy is a free public charter school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District, open to students throughout the Arapahoe County and Douglas County areas.
This STEAM middle school serving grades 6-8 is located at Centennial Airport next to Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight.
