Staff and Learner Program Updates

Dear Colorado SKIES Academy Parents and Supporters,

The flight plan for our first week of school is in place, and I’m so excited for our takeoff on Monday, August 19th. Our learners will spend the first week of school building community, getting to know one another, and getting familiarized with the engineering design process as they collaborate on a number of different challenges. On Thursday, we will have our first whole-school field trip to Dove Valley Regional Park, where we’ll spend the day playing games and having fun. There are lots of ways you can help out this week and next, so if you’re interested in volunteering please reach out to Bri Jones to let her know that you’re able to help. Thank you so much, and I look forward to seeing you soon!

In the meantime, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me at your earliest convenience by sending an email to zach.vine@coloradoskiesacademy.org. I look forward to meeting you soon.

Warm Regards,

Zach Vine
