It’s back to school time, which means things are rapidly changing as we get the finishing touches in place for our first day of school, Monday, August 19th at 8 a.m. With all these changes, it is also time to routinely check the website for updates on:
Parent Forum – Q&A with CSA Administration, Tuesday, August 6 – 6:30-7:30 p.m. @ Exploration of Flight Blue Skies Gallery. This is scheduled after the August board meeting.
Meet & Greet the Facilitators/Grand Opening: Saturday, August 17th, 1-3:30 p.m.
Mile High Catering Link: You will be able to begin planning lunches, etc.
Details on Pickup and Dropoff: Our wonderful parents are helping get this all set up based on systems observed at other schools.
After-School Care with Wings Over The Rockies (There will also be before-school care. This will begin at 7 a.m. The Care Team members will be supervising the learners during this time. It will be offered at no charge for your convenience.)
Schedule for our first day of school on August 19th!
Assemblies in Exploration of Flight Blue Sky Gallery (next door)
Orientation Activities in our new modulars!
If you drive by the school, you can see that a lot has happened this past week. More will continue to happen with our incredible construction team of Wember, Inc. and JHL Construction. They are committed to having us in our classrooms on Monday, August 19th. Should there be any delays, we have a contingency plan in place where we will be holding assembly/orientation activities entirely in the Exploration of Flight Blue Sky Gallery.
As we have been on this journey of opening a new school, your excitement, commitment, and patience is palpable. I have seen it at our July 23rd Parent Forum, in personal conversations, and in your email correspondence. Working with our facilitators last Thursday and Friday, I saw they are a committed, dynamic, creative team eagerly planning and organizing an outstanding year for your learners. Our administrative team continues to work on providing excellent service to our learners, our facilitators, and to you, our Colorado SKIES Academy community. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all that each and every one of you are doing as, together, we continue to shape and mold our school community.
