Health Office

As we are seeing an increase in illness within school (sore throat/strep and stomach bug with nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea), please make sure to keep your learners at home if they are sick.

Please make sure to keep your learner home if they have 2 or more minor symptoms that last more than 24 hours, or 1 major that lasts over 48 hours. Also, please keep your learner at home if they have had a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea. They may return after being symptom-free for 24 hours without medication to alleviate their symptoms.

Learners need to inform the clinic that they are not feeling well before they call home to parents. The nurse (Mrs. Sarah) or health tech should be aware of the learner’s condition in order to keep health policies in place.

The clinic does not have stocked Ibuprofen or Tylenol. If your learner needs either of these, they may carry one days worth on their person in the original bottle. If you would rather have it kept in the clinic, please fill out the health form under the parents tab and have their providers sign it as well.

Please make sure to keep your learner home if they are not feeling well or have two or more minor symptoms that last more than 24 hours, or one major symptom that lasts over 48 hours. Also, please keep your learner at home if they have had a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea. They may return after being symptom-free for 24 hours without medication to alleviate their symptoms. Please continue to report any COVID exposures/confirmations to sarah.phillips@coloradoskiesacademy.org. If you have a pending PCR test for your learner, please keep them home until the results have come back and been communicated with Sarah Phillips. Each household can request four at-home COVID tests for free by clicking here.

Thank you again for your continued support. We appreciate your partnership in keeping all learners safe and in school during these challenging times. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
