Speech and the Art of Argument
If you want to convince your parents that you are correct, a team that your ideas are best, and/or an investor that your invention is worthy, then this is the class for you. We will learn to conquer our fears of public speaking and presentation together in a fun and safe environment. Learners will research and develop impromptu, commemorative, educational, and persuasive presentations on aerospace and aeronautical topics. The skills you learn will bring you success in school, at home, and beyond. Let’s untap the power of your voice together!

Exploration of Aviation
In Exploration of Aviation you’ll complete projects related to all aspects of aviation. Explore many different components of aviation, including historical flights, types of aircraft and their uses, careers in aviation, how airports work, and more.

Pictures and Poems
Improve your selfie game! Channel your inner Shakespeare and write a sonnet! In “Pictures and Poems,” we will learn about various elements of photography while writing different forms of poetry. Throughout the semester, you’ll create an online presentation of your pictures and poems, and by the end of this elective, you’ll be able to wow your friends and family with your camera skills and way with words!

Learn to code! This is an introductory course in computer science that touches on the important aspects of code. At the end, you will get to create a basic webpage that you can build on throughout your time at CSA.

Do you want to help design your school? In fine arts you’ll be able to create projects where you can express yourself through products of choice. We will do hands on art to beautify the school and learn at the same time!
